At Thunderbal Distributors Ltd, we are seeking a skilled Truck Driver - Over the Road to join our team. As a key member of our transportation department, you will be responsible for operating and driving straight or articulated trucks to transport goods and materials. Your duties will include performing pre-trip, en route and post-trip inspection, overseeing all aspects of the vehicle, and performing emergency roadside repairs. You will also be required to receive and relay information to central dispatch, record cargo information, hours of service, distance travelled and fuel consumption, and perform preventive maintenance. Additionally, you will need to operate and drive as part of a two-person team or convoy, and perform brake adjustments. If you have a Driver's License (Class 1 or A) and an Air Brake (Z) Endorsement, and are willing to travel for extended periods, we encourage you to apply for this exciting opportunity. You will be working in a physically demanding environment, with a large workload, and will be required to sit for extended periods. The ideal candidate will have good judgement and be able to work independently. We offer a permanent position with 50 hours of work per week, and a language of work in English.
