About the Role

We are seeking a skilled Drywall Installation Specialist to join our team at Maxworth Homes Ltd. as a key member of our construction crew.

Key Responsibilities
  • Apply successive coats of compound and sand seams and joints to ensure a smooth finish.
  • Cut and install metal corner beads to protect exterior corners and maintain a high-quality finish.
  • Fully utilize joint compound to fill joints, nail indentations, holes, and cracks, using a trowel and broad knife.
  • Measure, cut, fit, and install drywall sheets with precision and accuracy.
  • Smooth out excess compound and allow each coat to dry, ensuring a seamless finish.
  • Tape over joints using a taping machine and embed tape in compound to create a strong bond.
Work Environment and Physical Demands
  • Work in a fast-paced construction environment, requiring flexibility and adaptability.
  • Perform tasks that involve bending, crouching, kneeling, and repetitive movements.
  • Utilize hand-eye coordination to ensure accuracy and precision in drywall installation.
Requirements and Qualifications
  • Minimum 3 years of experience in drywall installation, with a strong understanding of industry standards and best practices.
  • Permanent employment with a reputable company, offering a stable work environment and opportunities for growth.
  • Fluency in English, with excellent communication and teamwork skills.
