We are seeking a skilled Tile Installer to join our team at Gobind Granite Inc. As a Tile Installer, you will be responsible for preparing, measuring and marking surfaces to be covered, preparing rough plans and sketches, and setting tiles in place and applying pressure to affix them to the base.
Key Responsibilities:- Prepare surfaces for tiling by cleaning, measuring, and marking them.
- Prepare and install tile layouts, taking into account the design and pattern requirements.
- Set tiles in place using adhesives and grout, ensuring a smooth and even finish.
- Cut and fit tiles around obstacles and openings using hand and power cutting tools.
- Remove and replace cracked or damaged tiles, ensuring a seamless finish.
- Cut, surface, polish, and install marble and granite.
- Secondary (high) school graduation certificate.
- 1 year to less than 2 years of experience in tile installation.
- Basic security clearance.
- Steel-toed safety boots.
- Ability to work 40 hours per week.
