Job Title: Horticulturist

We are seeking a skilled Horticulturist to join our team at FOXBRIDGE GOLF AND COUNTRY CLUB. As a Horticulturist, you will be responsible for maintaining the health and appearance of our golf courses and surrounding landscapes.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Plan and implement landscape designs to enhance the aesthetic appeal of our golf courses and surrounding areas.
  • Trim and prune trees to achieve the desired shape and appearance.
  • Assess the health of lawns and take corrective action as needed.
  • Direct and supervise a team of groundskeepers to ensure the maintenance of our golf courses and surrounding landscapes.
  • Examine trees and shrubs to diagnose problems and disease.
  • Plant and maintain private and public lawns and gardens.
  • Plant and move trees, and perform tree removal as needed.
Requirements:
  • 1 year to less than 2 years of experience in a related field.
  • Secondary (high) school graduation certificate or equivalent experience.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and meet deadlines.
  • Strong communication and leadership skills.
  • Ability to work in a team environment.
Working Conditions:

This is a seasonal position, working 30 hours per week. The successful candidate will be required to work in a variety of weather conditions and be able to lift heavy objects.
