About the Role

Ferndale Transport Ltd. is seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Logistics Coordinator to join our team. As a key member of our operations department, you will be responsible for coordinating activities with other work units or departments, preparing and submitting reports, and arranging for maintenance and repair work.

Key Responsibilities
  • Coordinate logistics operations to ensure timely and efficient delivery of goods and services.
  • Prepare and submit reports to management on a regular basis.
  • Arrange for maintenance and repair work to be performed on company vehicles and equipment.
  • Resolve work problems and provide technical advice to improve productivity and product quality.
  • Train workers in duties and policies, and arrange training for staff as needed.
  • Coordinate, assign, and review work to ensure that tasks are completed on time and to a high standard.
  • Requisition or order materials, equipment, and supplies as needed.
  • Establish work schedules and procedures to ensure efficient use of resources.
  • Plan, organize, and oversee the operational logistics of the organization.
Requirements
  • 1-2 years of experience in a logistics or operations role.
  • Excellent communication and organizational skills.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and meet tight deadlines.
  • Attention to detail and ability to multitask.
  • Flexibility and ability to adapt to changing priorities.
  • Reliability and ability to work independently.
  • Team player with excellent interpersonal skills.
Preferred Qualifications
  • MS Excel and MS Word skills.
  • Experience with inventory management and supply chain software.
