Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Product Owner II to join our team at The Toronto-Dominion Bank (Canada). As a Product Owner II, you will be responsible for ensuring that our development teams deliver customer-focused product increments that meet the organization's needs.

Key Responsibilities
  • Align with senior management and other Product Owners to follow a product vision and create a prioritized product backlog.
  • Manage delivery blockers and continuously assess customer feedback to maximize value.
  • Develop and execute KYC (Know Your Customer) product strategic & planning process to establish priorities and drive change.
  • Contribute to the KYC product group health, including OKR, maturity measures, financial, capacity, KPIs, and KRIs.
  • Challenge the norm and provide thought leadership in KYC required control solutions that meet regulatory expectations and deliver best-in-class customer and colleague experience.
  • Work with senior business leaders to ensure our product capabilities and solutions are functionally aligned with requirements.
  • Mobilize teams and ensure alignment, manage interdependencies, and prioritize with other partners to achieve value.
  • Proactively align to three lines of defense strategy and build strong relationships with AML Compliance, LOBs, and other control functions to meet regulatory expectations.
  • Support any regulator exam, audit, or other relevant control execution and review of the KYC Products.
  • Govern vendor services and risks associated with KYC Products.
Requirements
  • AML/KYC Customer Due Diligence Expert (ACAMS or CAMS certified preferred)
  • Certified Scrum Product Owner (CSPO) certification or Agile delivery experience
  • Support speed, simplicity, agility in decision making and action
  • Conflict resolution, building partnerships, and perseverance under pressure/crisis
  • Technologically savvy - demonstrated experience working on technical projects
  • Experience working with customer and/or commercial portfolios
  • Financial management
  • Strategy Development
  • Business process improvement
  • Senior-level relationship management
  • People management or team development experience is helpful
