About the Job

We are seeking a reliable and hardworking individual to join our team at Complete Site Services Inc. as a Landscape Maintenance Worker.

Key Responsibilities
  • Assist with landscape constructions and installations
  • Tie and secure plants, trees, and other vegetation
  • Weed, prune, and trim trees and plants to maintain a neat and tidy appearance
  • Cut grass and maintain lawns to a high standard
  • Rake and collect refuse, including leaves and other debris
  • Remove litter and garbage from the work site
  • Cart and spread topsoil and other materials as required
  • Lay sod or seed to maintain the appearance of the work site
  • Plant bulbs, flowers, shrubs, and trees to enhance the aesthetic appeal of the area
  • Apply fertilizers to promote healthy plant growth
  • Water and tend to plants, lawns, and/or gardens to ensure they receive the necessary care
  • Operate and maintain landscape maintenance equipment, including chain saws, pick-up trucks, and lawn mowers
  • Remove trees and other vegetation as required
  • Spread sand or salt on sidewalks to control snow and ice
  • Clean snow and ice from walkways and parking areas
Requirements
  • 1-2 years of experience in a related field
  • Secondary (high) school graduation certificate
  • Valid driver's license
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment with tight deadlines
  • Physical stamina to perform manual labor in a variety of weather conditions
  • Manual dexterity and attention to detail
  • Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines
  • Dependability, flexibility, and reliability
  • Team player with good communication skills
Working Conditions
  • Work will be performed outdoors in a variety of weather conditions
  • May be required to work in a noisy, cold, or hot environment
  • May be required to lift heavy objects or work at heights
