Job Summary

2046361 Alberta Ltd. is seeking a skilled Truck Driver to join our team. As a key member of our logistics team, you will be responsible for transporting goods and materials safely and efficiently.

Key Responsibilities
  • Route Planning and Optimization

Plan and adjust routes based on changing conditions to minimize fuel consumption and carbon emissions.

Customer Service

Address customers' complaints or concerns in a professional and courteous manner.

Team Collaboration

Coach colleagues on new methods or work techniques to improve overall team performance.

Vehicle Maintenance

Oversee the condition of the vehicle and inspect tires, lights, brakes, cold storage, and other equipment to ensure safe operation.

Cargo Handling

Load and unload goods, and ensure the safety and security of cargo during transportation.

Documentation and Record-Keeping

Record cargo information, hours of service, distance traveled, and fuel consumption.

Requirements
  • Driver's License

A valid Driver's License (Class 1 or A) is required.

Experience

1 year to less than 2 years of experience in a similar role is preferred.

Language

Fluency in English is required.
