The successful candidate will be responsible for contributing to the development, training, hiring, and allocations of Educational Assistant services, and coordinating and completing related data and reporting in the Student Services areas.

  • Leading the development and implementation of a school division plan for Student Services;
  • Ensuring that the service delivery model for Chinook Student Services is understood and implemented;
  • Completing assessment and evaluation of student testing batteries at the school level as required, as well as related supports for program development;
  • Building effective and skillful teams in schools to complement the Service Delivery priorities for Student Support Services in Education;
  • Providing direction and support to schools on topics related to student behavior, differentiated instruction, mental health, and instructional planning;
  • Contributing to the development, training, hiring, and allocations of Educational Assistant services, and coordinating and completing related data and reporting in the Student Services areas.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Developing and implementing strategies to improve student outcomes;
  • Coordinating with teachers, principals, and other stakeholders to ensure effective service delivery;
  • Providing professional development opportunities to teachers and staff;
  • Collaborating with external agencies and organizations to access resources and expertise;
  • Monitoring and evaluating the effectiveness of Student Services programs and initiatives.
