Guru Auto Finance & Sales Ltd is seeking an experienced Accounting Clerk to join our team on a permanent basis. As an accounting clerk, you will play a crucial role in maintaining the financial records and ensuring accuracy in financial transactions.

About the Role:

We are looking for someone with 1-2 years of experience in bookkeeping and accounting. The ideal candidate should have excellent organizational skills, attention to detail, and be able to work under pressure. You should also be proficient in MS Office, particularly Excel and Access.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Calculate and prepare cheques for payroll and other financial obligations
  • Maintain general ledgers and financial statements, ensuring accuracy and timeliness
  • Post journal entries and reconcile accounts to ensure financial integrity
  • Prepare tax returns and statistical reports as required
  • Collaborate with other teams to ensure seamless financial operations
Requirements:
  • Diploma or degree in Accounting or related field (Secondary school graduation certificate)
  • 1-2 years of experience in bookkeeping and accounting
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • Proficiency in MS Office, particularly Excel and Access
