Job Summary

We're seeking a highly skilled Senior Release Manager to oversee the build and release process for Fortnite. As a key member of our production team, you'll work closely with producers, programmers, build programmers, and QA teams to ensure seamless releases. Your expertise will help us develop new practices and structures to scale release management and stabilization processes across our Fortnite ecosystem.

Key Responsibilities
  • Manage a team of release managers and drive vision for team-sponsored initiatives
  • Own the scheduling, coordination, quality control, and external certification process across multiple platforms and/or products
  • Act as the liaison between external partners and the development team, coordinating and negotiating development plans, exceptions, sales/marketing/publishing content, and releases
  • Work with the publishing and dev team to determine release content plans related to sales, giveaways, promotions, etc., and shepherd that content through external party approvals for release
Requirements
  • Production and people management/direct report experience with strong project management and communication skills
  • Experience with build and release processes for Software or Games as a Service product
  • Experience working with database technology
  • Technical orientation and a strong understanding of software development
  • Knowledge of game development process and exposure to working with shipped and live titles
