GEMTEC Consulting Engineers & Scientists Limited is seeking a skilled Material Technician to join our team in Fredericton. As a Material Technician, you will be responsible for laboratory testing of aggregates, soils, concrete, and asphalt, as well as field testing and sampling of these materials.

The ideal candidate will have experience in general construction activities and materials testing and inspection. A college-level diploma is considered an asset, but not required. The successful applicant will be able to work independently and as part of a team, with strong multi-tasking, organization, and planning skills.

Main duties will include laboratory testing, field testing, and sampling of materials, as well as other duties as required. Full-time seasonal and term positions are available, and a valid driver's license and access to a personal vehicle for work-related travel are necessary.
