Drywall Craftsman

Aroma Construction Ltd is seeking a skilled Drywall Craftsman to join our team. This role involves working at heights, on scaffolding or swing stages, erecting and installing scaffolding, falsework and other working platforms.

We are offering an estimated salary of $65,000 - $75,000 per year, depending on experience. The successful candidate will be required to work 35-40 hours per week in a dusty and noisy environment.

• Supervise other workers and ensure they follow safety protocols.
• Apply successive coats of compound and sand seams and joints to achieve a smooth finish.
• Measure, cut, fit and install drywall sheets to create a stable structure.
• Mix plaster ingredients to the desired consistency and apply them to walls and ceilings.
• Clean and prepare surfaces for finishing, ensuring a high-quality finish.
• Erect and install scaffolding, falsework and other working platforms to enable safe access to work areas.

• Secondary (high) school graduation certificate is required.
• 2 years to less than 3 years of experience in drywall installation is preferred.
• Ability to work at heights, lift heavy materials and stand for extended periods.
• Good hand-eye coordination and physical stamina.
