About the Role

Key Responsibilities
  • Preparation and Baking: Prepare dough for pies, bread, rolls, and sweet goods, batters for muffins, cookies, and cakes, and icings and frostings according to recipes or special customer orders.
  • Bakery Operations: Bake mixed dough and batters, frost and decorate cakes and baked goods, and ensure that the quality of products meets established standards.
  • Inventory Management: Organize and maintain inventory of ingredients and supplies.
  • Food Safety and Quality: Inspect kitchen and food service areas to ensure cleanliness and food safety standards are met.
Requirements
  • Education: No degree, certificate, or diploma required.
  • Experience: 1 year to less than 2 years of experience in a bakery or related field.
  • Work Setting: Bakery, café, or coffee shop environment.
