Asbestos Removal Specialist

Hazpro Environmental Ltd is seeking a skilled Asbestos Removal Specialist to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for loading, unloading, and transporting construction materials, as well as performing pre-operational inspections and cleaning and lubricating cranes. You will also assist in demolishing buildings, clean and pile salvaged materials, and perform routine maintenance work. Additionally, you will remove rubble and other debris at construction sites and tend or feed machines or equipment used in construction. The ideal candidate will have excellent oral communication skills, be reliable, and be a team player. Experience is an asset, and the ability to work in a variety of locations, including outdoors and confined spaces, is required. The work setting is varied, with tasks including erecting and dismantling concrete forms, scaffolding, ramps, catwalks, shoring, and barricades. The work environment is noisy, dusty, and hot, and the ability to lift up to 9 kg (20 lbs) is necessary. The position is permanent, with 35 to 40 hours of work per week, and the language of work is English. This is a green job that involves duties and responsibilities that lead to positive environmental outcomes.
