We are seeking a skilled Project Controls Cost Analyst to join our Power Generation team in Bowmanville. This role requires a collaborative professional with excellent analytical skills and experience in cost management, schedule creation, and reporting.


Job Description

The successful candidate will support project managers with cost and schedule performance, develop weekly cost reports and schedule updates, and maintain accurate records. Proficiency in Primavera P6, JDE, and Excel is essential. The position requires flexibility and the ability to work closely with the finance department and project management team.


Responsibilities
  • Establish Work Breakdown Structure (WBS) for large and small projects within the regional project model.
  • Develop new EPC & non-EPCC project schedules in conjunction with Tier One Subcontractors.
  • Maintain Oncore templates for project and outage work.
  • Reconcile labour and non-labour at a Job level to ensure accuracy of reporting.
  • Provide CPI and SPI as required to project managers.
  • Support project managers and project controls manager as needed.
  • Manage weekly accruals and report monthly on projected gross margin.
  • Forecast project work for cost overruns and use earned value to calculate CPI.

Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will require:

  • A bachelor's degree in a relevant field or related designation.
  • 8 years of experience in project controls, preferably on EPC projects.
  • Experience working with high-risk and complex projects.
  • Proficiency in relevant project controls software, including JDE and Primavera P6.
