Chief Operating Officer

Coast Foundation Society 1974 seeks a highly skilled and experienced Chief Operating Officer to lead the organization's strategic planning process, provide operational leadership to the senior management team, and serve as a liaison to external stakeholders and partners.
Key Responsibilities:- Develop and implement the organization's strategic plan, in collaboration with the senior management team and staff.
- Provide programmatic leadership and input for the strategic plan implementation process.
- Develop and implement a system for tracking, reporting, and evaluating the progress of the strategic plan implementation.
- Contribute to the enterprise risk management process, identifying organizational risks, promoting risk mitigation, and ensuring a safe work environment.
- Lead, coach, develop, and retain a high-performance senior management team, with an emphasis on developing capacity in strategic analysis, planning, and program budgeting.
- Lead and implement Quality Improvement plans and initiatives.
- Contribute to the development and implementation of staff training programs, in collaboration with the Chief Human Resources Officer.
- Ensure the continued financial viability of the organization's operational units through sound fiscal management.
- Assist in managing and cultivating existing relationships with funders to secure and expand recurring revenue streams and identify new prospects and projects.
- Represent the organization with the media and external constituency groups, building excitement for the organization's mission and vision.
- Proven experience in strategic planning, program development, and operational leadership.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to think critically and strategically.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build and maintain relationships with stakeholders and partners.
- Ability to work collaboratively with the senior management team and staff to achieve organizational goals.
- Strong business acumen, with the ability to manage budgets and resources effectively.
- Experience in risk management and quality improvement initiatives.
- Ability to represent the organization with the media and external constituency groups.
