Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled Telecommunications Equipment Technician to join our team at ONTARIO INC.

Key Responsibilities
  • Diagnose and repair telecommunications equipment, ensuring optimal performance and efficiency.
  • Inspect and maintain telephone systems, identifying and addressing any issues or faults.
  • Install, arrange, and remove telephone equipment, wiring, and associated hardware, adhering to industry standards and best practices.
  • Test and troubleshoot telephone systems to locate transmission faults and ensure seamless communication.
  • Complete and maintain accurate test and service reports, providing detailed documentation of work performed.
  • Determine the nature, cause, and location of trouble, using analytical skills to resolve complex issues.
  • Determine work assignments and prioritize tasks to meet deadlines and deliver high-quality results.
Requirements
  • Secondary (high) school graduation certificate.
  • 1 year to less than 2 years of experience in telecommunications equipment repair and maintenance.
  • Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills.
  • Strong attention to detail and ability to work accurately.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
Working Conditions

This is a permanent position, working 30 hours per week. The work language is English.
