We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Retail Store Operations Manager to join our team at Blanchou Inc.

Job Summary:

The Retail Store Operations Manager will be responsible for overseeing the day-to-day operations of our retail store, including sales, customer service, inventory management, and employee supervision.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Assign sales workers to duties and ensure that all tasks are completed efficiently and effectively.
  • Hire and train or arrange for training of staff to ensure they have the necessary skills and knowledge to perform their roles.
  • Order merchandise and authorize returns to ensure that our stock levels are maintained and that customers receive excellent service.
  • Establish work schedules to meet the needs of the business and ensure that employees are working efficiently and effectively.
  • Sell merchandise and provide exceptional customer service to drive sales and revenue growth.
  • Prepare reports on sales volumes, merchandising, and personnel matters to inform business decisions.
  • Resolve issues that may arise, including customer requests, complaints, and supply shortages, in a timely and professional manner.
  • Organize and maintain inventory to ensure that stock levels are accurate and that products are available for sale.
  • Supervise and co-ordinate activities of workers to ensure that tasks are completed efficiently and effectively.
Requirements:
  • Secondary (high) school graduation certificate is required; however, a degree in a related field such as business or retail management is an asset.
  • Minimum 2 years to less than 3 years of experience in a retail management role is preferred.
  • Excellent leadership and communication skills are essential for success in this role.
  • Able to work under pressure and make sound judgments in a fast-paced environment.
  • Demonstrated ability to multitask and prioritize tasks effectively.
Work Environment:

This role requires the ability to work in a fast-paced retail environment with frequent interruptions. The successful candidate must be able to work independently and as part of a team to achieve goals and objectives.

Compensation:

The estimated annual salary for this role is $55,000 - $65,000 based on industry standards and market conditions.
