Job Title: Food Processing Labourer

We are seeking a skilled Food Processing Labourer to join our team at GELDA SCIENTIFIC & INDUSTRIAL DEVELOPMENT CORP. in a permanent position.

Job Summary:

The successful candidate will be responsible for performing various tasks related to food processing, including food safety and handling skills, transporting raw materials and finished products, and operating machinery.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Transport raw materials, finished products, and packaging materials
  • Measure and dump ingredients into hoppers of mixing and grinding machines
  • Feed flattened boxes into forming machines to construct containers
  • Remove filled containers from conveyors
  • Manually pack goods into bags and boxes or other containers
  • Feed and unload processing machines
  • Check products and packaging for basic quality defects
  • Assist process control and machine operators in performing their duties
  • Clean machines and immediate work areas
Requirements:
  • Secondary (high) school graduation certificate
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
  • Manual dexterity and hand-eye coordination
  • Ability to stand for extended periods
  • Attention to detail
  • Ability to lift up to 9 kg (20 lbs)
Work Environment:

The successful candidate will work in a manufacturing environment with a fast-paced atmosphere. The position requires the ability to work in a team environment and to follow instructions.
