About the Role

CBS FOODS LTD is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Culinary Professional to join our team as a Kitchen Supervisor. As a key member of our kitchen staff, you will be responsible for ensuring the smooth operation of our food service areas.

Key Responsibilities
  • Food Preparation and Service: Prepare and cook complete meals or individual dishes and foods to the highest standards of quality and presentation.
  • Kitchen Maintenance: Inspect kitchens and food service areas to ensure they are clean, safe, and well-maintained.
  • Staff Training and Development: Train kitchen staff and helpers in preparation, cooking, and handling of food to ensure consistency and quality.
  • Inventory Management: Order supplies and equipment to maintain inventory levels and ensure efficient kitchen operations.
  • Team Leadership: Supervise kitchen staff and helpers to ensure effective teamwork and communication.
  • Record Keeping: Maintain accurate records of food, supplies, and equipment to inform kitchen operations and decision-making.
  • Cleanliness and Safety: Clean kitchen and work areas to maintain a safe and healthy environment.
  • Operational Management: Manage kitchen operations to ensure efficient use of resources and maximum productivity.
Requirements
  • Education: Secondary (high) school graduation certificate.
  • Experience: 7 months to less than 1 year of experience in a similar role.
  • Language: English.
  • Work Hours: 35 to 40 hours per week.
