About the Role

We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Customer Service Advocate to join our team in Winnipeg. As a key member of our operations team, you will be responsible for the day-to-day administrative tasks of our facility, including client reception, logistics, scheduling, purchasing, billing, and environmental compliance.

Key Responsibilities

  • Coordinate client appointments and schedule changes, ensuring seamless communication with our operations team.
  • Maintain accurate records of waste receipt and shipment, including waste manifests, bills of lading, and work orders.
  • Ensure compliance with MTO/TDG/MOE regulations for waste transportation, receiving, and management.
  • Prepare and complete internal and regulated documents, including lab analytical reports, work orders, and driver logs.
  • Process work orders and billings with attention to detail and accuracy.
  • Provide exceptional customer service and respond to general inquiries and facility requests.
  • Create and maintain customer accounts, waste classification, and pricing profiles within our CRM system.
  • Prepare reports on waste diversion and other metrics for customers and management.
  • Perform general office administration, including electronic and paper-based storage and filing.
  • Assist with procurement and purchasing as needed.

Requirements

  • 2-4 years of experience in a similar role.
  • University degree or college diploma, with a preference for environmental science and transportation-related disciplines.
  • Previous experience in environmental or related fields, with knowledge of Transportation of Dangerous Goods.
  • Excellent communication skills in oral and written English.
  • Ability to independently resolve problems and escalate to superiors when necessary.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office suite, with emphasis on Excel.

Salary Range

$40,000 - $42,000 per year
