Mucci Farms Ltd is seeking a reliable and hardworking individual to join our team as a General Labour/Greenhouse Worker. This is a full-time position that requires a strong work ethic and ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
Key Responsibilities- Harvest fruits and vegetables using hand tools such as shears and knives
- Monitor plants for problems such as diseases, weeds, and insect pests, and report to supervisor
- Inspect product prior to packaging and ensure that quality specifications are met
- Operate and maintain farm equipment and machinery
- Report quality or crop issues to labour supervisor
- Follow all company policies and procedures
- Ability to lift heavy materials (up to 23 kg/50 lbs.)
- Ability to climb stairs and stand on feet for an extended period of time
- Ability to work in a changing temperature environment
- Ability to bend, stretch, twist, or reach with body, arms, and/or legs
The incumbent will be working in a fast-paced agricultural environment with varying temperatures and physical demands. A positive attitude and commitment to customer service excellence are essential for this role.
