About the Role

This is a challenging and rewarding opportunity to lead projects that contribute to Scotiabank's Global Procurement Services' strategic priorities. As a Procurement Insights and Analytics Manager, you will be responsible for end-to-end project implementation and Business as Usual (BAU) activities, collaborating with product managers on program campaigns, supporting Global Payment Operations on optimizing supplier onboarding processes, developing SharePoint content for internal and external audiences, creating PowerPoint presentations, and presenting project progress to senior leaders.

Key Responsibilities
  • Project Leadership: Define project objectives and scope, engage stakeholders from within and outside Global Procurement Services, develop detailed project plans, monitor and track progress, manage changes to the project scope and schedule, and attend leadership team meetings to provide project updates.
  • Procurement Expertise: Leverage your knowledge of procurement practices to identify opportunities for Supplier/Client Programs, translate opportunities into leads, develop project strategies and business cases to obtain buy-in from GPS leadership, and analyze project data, supplier data, and program campaign data.
  • Communication and Collaboration: Be the liaison between Global Procurement Services, Business Product Manager, and Accounts Payable Operations to drive visibility of Program achievements, and collaborate with Technology teams on implementing technology enhancements.
  • Team Leadership: Champion a high-performance environment and implement a people strategy that attracts, retains, develops, and motivates team members by fostering an inclusive work environment, communicating vision/values/business strategy, and managing succession and development planning for the team.
Requirements
  • Education: Bachelor's degree in management, finance, or related field; master's degree in business or related field preferred.
  • Skills: Advanced PowerPoint skills, excellent verbal and written communication skills, strong project management skills, advanced technical skills in various data analytics tools, such as Excel, PowerBI, strong problem-solving and analytical skills, and knowledge of core banking products.
