About the JobWe are seeking a reliable and caring Child Caregiver Assistant to join our team at Cyrene Garbo. As a key member of our household staff, you will be responsible for providing top-notch childcare and household management services to our family.
Job SummaryThis is a permanent position requiring 30-40 hours of work per week. The ideal candidate will have 1-2 years of experience in childcare and a secondary school graduation certificate or equivalent. If you are a patient, efficient, and client-focused individual who enjoys working with children, we encourage you to apply.
Key Responsibilities- Assume full responsibility for household duties in the absence of parents, including light housekeeping and cleaning.
- Travel with the family on trips and assist with child supervision and housekeeping duties.
- Bathe, dress, and feed infants and children.
- Discipline children according to parental methods.
- Instruct children in personal hygiene and social development.
- Keep records of daily activities and health information regarding children.
- Maintain a safe and healthy environment in the home.
- Organize activities for children, such as games and outings.
- Prepare and serve nutritious meals.
- Prepare children for rest periods.
- Supervise and care for children.
- Tend to the emotional well-being of children.
- Help children with homework.
- Secondary (high) school graduation certificate or equivalent experience.
- 1 year to less than 2 years of experience in childcare.
- CPR Certificate, First Aid Certificate, and Emergency Child Care First Aid.
- A competitive salary of $45,000 - $60,000 per year, depending on experience.
