Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled CNC Lathe Setup Operator to join our team at Waterford Executive. As a key member of our manufacturing team, you will be responsible for setting up and operating CNC Lathe machines to produce high-quality parts.

Key Responsibilities
  • Setup and Operation: Set up and operate CNC Lathe machines to produce parts according to specifications.
  • Tool Management: Manage and maintain tools, including changing and modifying programs, tool length and diameter offsets, and fixture and pallet offsets.
  • Quality Control: Inspect parts for quality and accuracy, and make adjustments as needed.
  • Efficiency and Productivity: Optimize machine running times, check parts, clean tools and tool holders, and prepare parts for loading.
  • Safety and Maintenance: Operate machines with proper guarding in place, report any damaged guarding or tools, and maintain machine oil levels.
  • Team Collaboration: Work collaboratively with other team members to achieve production goals and maintain a safe and healthy work environment.
Requirements
  • Education and Experience: High school diploma or equivalent, and 1-2 years of experience in CNC machining or a related field.
  • Skills and Abilities: Strong understanding of CNC machining principles, ability to read and interpret blueprints and specifications, and excellent problem-solving and communication skills.
