Job Title: Heavy Equipment Technician - Material Handling

Brandt is seeking a skilled Heavy Equipment Technician - Material Handling to join our team in Regina. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for performing complex diagnostics, service maintenance, and repair work on customer and dealer-owned equipment.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Independently perform basic and complex diagnostics, service maintenance, and repair work on customer and dealer-owned equipment.
  • Resolve customer issues to their satisfaction in a timely manner.
  • Work within budgets and approvals provided by the Service Manager.
  • Maintain a high level of productivity, efficiency, and gross margin.
  • Maintain a quality of work metric of 98%.
Requirements:
  • Outstanding knowledge of mechanical, electrical, hydraulic systems, and propane systems.
  • Demonstrated diagnostic skills to understand mechanical and electrical systems of battery and engine-powered material handling equipment.
  • Experience with the use of hand tools and measuring devices, and electrical/electronic diagnostic tools/measurements.
  • Knowledge and experience with industrial equipment, including lifting/rigging, maintaining, dismantling, and installing machinery and industrial mechanical service equipment.
  • Strong time-management skills to perform effectively under pressure.
  • Strong communication skills, showing an appreciation of customer needs.
  • Trade qualification (Heavy Equipment, Agriculture, Automotive, Truck/Transport) considered an asset.
  • Demonstrated ability to work collaboratively with colleagues.
