Parts Service Supervisor

Are you a seasoned professional looking to take your career to the next level? We are seeking an experienced Parts Service Supervisor to join our team at Saskatoon Truck & Trailer Repair Ltd.
About the RoleIn this dynamic and challenging role, you will be responsible for overseeing the day-to-day operations of our parts department. You will work closely with our technicians and customers to ensure that we provide top-notch service and support.
Key Responsibilities:- Co-ordinate activities with other work units or departments: Work collaboratively with our sales, service, and administrative teams to ensure seamless communication and efficient workflow.
- Prepare and submit reports: Maintain accurate records and prepare reports on parts inventory, customer interactions, and operational performance.
- Ensure smooth operation of computer equipment and machinery: Troubleshoot technical issues and maintain our computer systems and machinery to ensure optimal performance.
- Arrange for maintenance and repair work: Coordinate regular maintenance and repairs for our equipment and vehicles to minimize downtime and optimize productivity.
- Resolve work problems, provide technical advice, and recommend measures to improve productivity and product quality: Analyze issues and provide expert guidance to resolve problems and improve our operations.
- Recruit and hire staff: Partner with our HR team to recruit and onboard new employees, ensuring they have the skills and knowledge needed to succeed in their roles.
- Train workers in duties and policies: Develop and deliver training programs to ensure our staff has the necessary knowledge and skills to perform their jobs effectively.
- Co-ordinate, assign, and review work: Prioritize tasks, delegate responsibilities, and monitor progress to ensure timely completion of projects and tasks.
- Establish work schedules and procedures: Create and implement efficient workflows and schedules to maximize productivity and minimize waste.
- Plan, organize, and oversee operational logistics of the organization: Develop and implement strategies to improve our operational efficiency, reduce costs, and enhance customer satisfaction.About You
To be successful in this role, you will need to possess excellent leadership and communication skills, as well as the ability to work independently and as part of a team. You should have a strong background in parts management, with experience in a similar role or in a related field.
We offer a competitive salary and benefits package, including a base salary of $55,000 per year, plus opportunities for bonuses and professional development.
