Custodial Support Worker

We are seeking a Custodial Support Worker to join our team at the Greater Essex County District School Board. As a Custodial Support Worker, you will be responsible for maintaining a clean and safe environment for our students and staff.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Maintain a clean and organized workspace, including classrooms, hallways, and common areas.
  • Operate cleaning equipment and machinery safely and efficiently.
  • Communicate effectively with staff and students to ensure a positive and inclusive environment.
  • Work collaboratively with other custodial staff to achieve shared goals and objectives.
  • Participate in ongoing training and professional development to enhance skills and knowledge.

Qualifications:

  • An Ontario Secondary School Diploma or equivalent.
  • Previous cleaning experience in a school or commercial setting (asset).
  • Ability to operate equipment and machinery safely and efficiently.
  • Effective communication and interpersonal skills.
  • A satisfactory Police Clearance.
