Role Summary

We are seeking a skilled Payroll Specialist to join our team on a part-time, off-site basis. As a Payroll Specialist, you will be responsible for the day-to-day administration of payroll, including garnishments, payroll services, payroll taxes, and payroll processing.

Key Responsibilities

  • Administer payroll, including processing payroll, managing garnishments, and ensuring compliance with payroll laws and regulations.
  • Provide expert payroll services, including payroll tax compliance and payroll processing.
  • Develop and maintain strong relationships with clients, providing exceptional customer service and support.
  • Stay up-to-date with relevant payroll laws and regulations, ensuring compliance and accuracy in payroll calculations.
  • Utilize Quickbooks payroll software and systems to manage payroll operations.
  • Collaborate with the team to achieve business objectives and goals.

Requirements

  • Strong knowledge of payroll administration, payroll services, and payroll processing.
  • Experience with garnishments and payroll taxes.
  • Excellent attention to detail and accuracy in payroll calculations.
  • Knowledge of relevant payroll laws and regulations.
  • Experience with Quickbooks payroll software and systems.
  • Excellent organizational and time management skills.
  • Certification in Payroll Compliance Practitioner (PCP) or Certified Payroll Manager (CPM) is an asset.
