Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced General Commercial Cleaner to join our team at ServiceMaster Clean of Kingston, Belleville and Trenton. This is a full-time position that requires a high level of physical exertion and moderate intensity of sensory effort.

About the Role

In this role, you will be responsible for conducting various general and specialty cleaning services at an assigned client site. Your duties will include scrubbing, stripping, and refinishing hard flooring, cleaning carpets using hot water extraction, dusting all furniture, cleaning mirrors and glass, sanitizing bathroom fixtures, emptying garbage bins, and refilling dispensers.

Responsibilities
  • Conduct thorough and efficient cleaning services at client sites
  • Clean and maintain floors, including VCT, Ceramic, and other types of hard flooring
  • Operate carpet cleaning equipment to clean carpets using hot water extraction
  • Dust all furniture, including desks, chairs, tables, and other areas as assigned
  • Clean and polish mirrors and glass, including interior glass in partitions and doors
  • Sanitize and clean bathroom fixtures, including toilet bowls, urinals, and hand basins
  • Empty and maintain garbage bins and containers
  • Refill dispensers with soap, tissue, towel, liners, and cups
  • Perform additional cleaning instructions received from clients
  • Establish positive rapport with clients and provide exceptional service
  • Maintain a safe and healthy working environment by adhering to company safety policies
Requirements
  • Effective communication skills both written and verbal
  • Pride taken in providing clean residential and commercial environments to clients
  • Strong attention to detail
  • Proven ability to build and maintain strong working relationships
  • Flexible, adaptable, and able to work effectively in a variety of settings
  • Minimum of one (1) year's experience in commercial cleaning is preferred
Working Conditions

This position requires a high level of physical exertion and moderate intensity of sensory effort. The ideal candidate should be physically fit and able to work in a fast-paced environment.

Compensation

The estimated salary range for this position is $40,000 - $55,000 per annum, depending on experience and qualifications. We offer a competitive benefits package and opportunities for career advancement.
