Financial Analyst Job Description

Rakuten Kobo Inc. is seeking a skilled Financial Analyst to join our team. As a Financial Analyst, you will play a key role in examining and analyzing financial and investment information to inform business decisions.

Key Responsibilities
  • Financial Analysis: Examine and analyze financial and investment information, including company profiles, stock prices, yields, and future trends.
  • Reporting and Analysis: Prepare company, industry, and economic outlooks, analytical reports, briefings notes, and correspondence.
  • Contract and Tender Support: Advise on and participate in the financial aspects of contracts and calls for tender.
  • Budgeting and Planning: Assist in preparing operating and investment budgets, and plan short- and long-term cash flows.
  • Financial Performance Assessment: Assess financial performance and prepare a regular risk profile for debt portfolios.
  • Process Improvement: Enforce policies and procedures, and conduct follow-up assessments.

Experience and Education
  • Experience: 3 years to less than 5 years of experience in financial analysis or a related field.
  • Education: Bachelor's degree in a related field, such as finance, accounting, or business administration.
