PWL WAINWRIGHT is seeking a detail-oriented Housekeeping Coordinator to join our team. As a key member of our housekeeping staff, you will be responsible for ensuring the highest standards of cleanliness and hygiene in our facilities.

About the Role

The successful candidate will have excellent organizational skills, with the ability to work independently and as part of a team. You will be expected to maintain accurate records and reports, and communicate effectively with colleagues and management.

Responsibilities
  • Sweep, mop, wash and polish floors to ensure a clean and safe environment
  • Vacuum carpeting, area rugs, draperies and upholstered furniture to maintain a high level of cleanliness
  • Make beds and change sheets to provide a comfortable living space for residents
  • Clean and disinfect kitchen and bathroom fixtures and appliances to prevent the spread of germs and illnesses
  • Handle and report lost and found items in a timely manner
  • Provide basic information on facilities and services to residents and visitors
  • Launder clothing and household linens to maintain a clean and hygienic environment
Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • A secondary (high) school graduation certificate
  • Experience working in a fast-paced environment, preferably in a healthcare setting
  • Ability to lift heavy objects and stand for long periods
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
