Job Title: Housekeeping Assistant

We are seeking a reliable and detail-oriented Housekeeping Assistant to join our team at Addiction Rehab Toronto Inc. As a Housekeeping Assistant, you will be responsible for maintaining the cleanliness and organization of our facilities, ensuring a safe and healthy environment for our clients and staff.

Responsibilities:
  • Maintain the cleanliness and organization of all areas of the facility, including common areas, client rooms, and staff areas.
  • Perform daily cleaning tasks, including sweeping, mopping, dusting, and vacuuming.
  • Restock supplies and linens as needed.
  • Assist with laundry and linen services.
  • Participate in deep cleaning and disinfection of high-touch areas and equipment.
  • Report any maintenance or repair issues to the facilities manager.
Requirements:
  • High school diploma or equivalent required.
  • Previous experience in housekeeping or a related field an asset.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to lift up to 23 kg (50 lbs) and stand for long periods.
Working Conditions:
  • Physically demanding work environment.
  • May be required to work in a fast-paced environment with multiple priorities.
  • May be exposed to cleaning chemicals and other hazardous materials.
