About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Automotive Service Technician to join our team at Bannister Automotive Group. As a key member of our service department, you will be responsible for ensuring the highest level of customer satisfaction by providing exceptional repair and maintenance services for our customers' vehicles.

Key Responsibilities
  • Diagnose and Repair Issues: Use your technical expertise to diagnose and repair complex problems with vehicles, working closely with our supervisors to determine the best course of action.
  • Inspect and Test Mechanical Units: Conduct thorough inspections and tests of mechanical units to identify faults and malfunctions, and make necessary repairs or replacements.
  • Perform Scheduled Maintenance: Carry out routine maintenance tasks, such as oil changes and tire rotations, to ensure our customers' vehicles are running at peak performance.
  • Test and Adjust Repaired Systems: Verify that all repairs and maintenance work meets manufacturer specifications, and make any necessary adjustments.
  • Provide Excellent Customer Service: Communicate effectively with customers to understand their needs and concerns, and provide timely and courteous service to ensure their satisfaction.
Requirements
  • Education: Other trades certificate or diploma
  • Experience: 3 years to less than 5 years
  • Language: English
  • Work Hours: 40 hours per week
