We are seeking a qualified Caregiving Specialist to join our team at Wolfville Nursing Home. In this role, you will provide exceptional care and support to our residents, ensuring their physical, emotional, and social needs are met.
Key Responsibilities- Deliver high-quality care and services to residents, adhering to established standards and guidelines.
- Develop and maintain positive relationships with residents, their families, and healthcare professionals.
- Contribute to a safe and healthy environment by following infection control procedures and maintaining a clean and organized workspace.
- Diploma or certificate in Continuing Care Assistant or related field.
- Previous experience in long-term care or a related field is an asset.
- Certification as a Continuing Care Assistant (CCA) is required.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
You will be working in a fast-paced, dynamic environment that requires flexibility and adaptability. You will be responsible for providing care and support to residents with varying levels of need, including those with dementia, physical disabilities, and mental health conditions.
What We Offer- A competitive salary range of $42,000 - $52,000 per year, depending on experience.
