Estimated SalaryThe estimated annual salary for this position is $55,000-$65,000, based on industry standards and regional costs.
Key Responsibilities- Read blueprints, drawings, and sketches to determine work requirements and ensure accurate construction.
- Prepare layouts according to building codes using measuring tools and equipment.
- Measure, cut, shape, assemble, and join materials made of wood, wood substitutes, lightweight steel, and other materials.
- Build foundations, install floor beams, lay subflooring, and erect walls and roof systems.
- Familiarize yourself with local building codes, regulations, and industry standards to ensure compliance.
- No degree, certificate, or diploma required; relevant experience and skills are essential.
- Demonstrated ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Excellent problem-solving and communication skills.
- Possess basic knowledge of construction safety procedures and protocols.
This is a permanent, full-time position with approximately 30 hours of work per week. The working language is English.
