Truck Driver Wanted for LTL Pickup and Delivery

We are seeking a reliable Truck Driver with a minimum of 2 years of experience operating a 26 or 24 foot straight truck. The ideal candidate will have a valid DZ driver's license, a clean driving record, and CVOR in good standing.

The successful candidate will be responsible for making LTL pickup and delivery within the GTA and surrounding areas. We offer competitive pay and the opportunity to start immediately.

Key Requirements:

  • Valid DZ driver's license
  • Minimum 3 years of DZ driving experience
  • Able to pass a background check
  • Insurance experience letter is an asset

Job Duties:

  • Communicate effectively with clients and coworkers in a friendly and professional manner
  • Operate and maintain company vehicles safely and efficiently
  • Able to handle all physical requirements for loading, transporting, and driving without assistance
  • Execute accurate and timely handling of client delivery requests
  • Prepare accurate paperwork and records
  • Inspect materials through various stages of delivery to ensure they are free of damage or defect

Skills and Abilities:

  • Dangerous Goods Certification
  • Excellent driving skills
  • Able to use a tailgate if required
  • May be required to do some hand bomb deliveries if needed
  • Lift at least 50 lbs
  • Walk, stand, and sit for extended periods of time
  • Thorough knowledge of the GTA and surrounding area
  • Experience navigating and finding delivery addresses using GPS and maps
  • Attention to detail and accuracy in paperwork
  • Strong customer service and verbal communication skills
  • Commitment to adhere and enforce all security procedures

$60,000 - $80,000 per year
