Job Summary

As a key member of our production team, you will be responsible for operating manual or semi-automatic welding equipment, reading and interpreting welding blueprints, and performing various welding tasks.

Key Responsibilities
  • Operate manual or semi-automatic welding equipment to fabricate or repair metal parts and products.
  • Read and interpret welding blueprints, drawings, specifications, manuals, and processes to ensure accurate and efficient welding operations.
  • Operate manual or semi-automatic flame-cutting equipment to cut and shape metal parts.
  • Operate oxygen arc cutting equipment (arc-air) to cut and shape metal parts.
  • Operate hoisting and lifting equipment to move heavy metal parts and equipment.
  • Maintain and perform minor repairs on welding, brazing, and soldering equipment to ensure optimal performance.
Requirements
  • Secondary (high) school graduation certificate or equivalent experience.
  • 3 years to less than 5 years of experience in the field of employment.
  • Basic security clearance and willingness to undergo a drug test.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment with repetitive tasks and physically demanding conditions.
  • Excellent oral communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to stand for extended periods and handle heavy loads up to 23 kg (50 lbs).
