Job Summary

We are seeking an experienced Electrical Engineer to join our team in Champlin, MN. As an Electrical Engineer, you will play a crucial role in designing electrical systems for automated water treatment systems, improving internal processes, and collaborating with cross-functional teams.

Key Responsibilities

  • Design and develop electrical systems for automated water treatment systems, including potable water production, industrial process water manufacturing, and wastewater treatment.
  • Contribute to the continuous improvement of internal processes, focusing on quality control, compliance with current standards and codes, and updating technical documents.
  • Supervise electrical work in the factory and ensure rigorous monitoring of system tests.
  • Review and validate power and control electrical schematics.
  • Support the sales team by assisting in bid preparation, including cost evaluation, analysis of technical specifications, and specific requirements.
  • Collaborate with internal departments, including engineers, technicians, and project managers, to facilitate smooth communication and optimal synergy.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering.
  • 2 to 3 years of experience in a relevant field for the position.
  • Relevant experience in a manufacturing environment.
  • Ability to interpret power & control electrical schematics.
  • Knowledge of electrical components for automation, instrumentation, control, and power.
  • Proficiency in software such as EPLAN, AutoCAD Electrical, or similar drawing software.
  • Availability to occasionally travel to the Ham-Nord plant.
  • Excellent analytical and synthesis skills, with great attention to detail.
  • Ability to manage priorities and work on multiple projects simultaneously.
  • Ability to work in a team with a positive and professional attitude.
