Job Summary

CEDA is seeking a skilled and experienced Class 1 or 3 driver to join our team in Estevan, SK. As a key member of our operations team, you will be responsible for operating and maintaining a variety of heavy equipment, including vacuum trucks, hydro-vac units, and other specialized tools.

Key Responsibilities
  • Operate and maintain a range of heavy equipment, including vacuum trucks, hydro-vac units, and other specialized tools.
  • Work safely at heights up to 100 meters in a labor-intensive capacity.
  • Ensure safety for all team members and property.
  • Work as part of a team and follow direction from supervision.
  • Work outdoors in a variety of weather conditions.
  • Learn new skills every day by rigging in and out specialty equipment.
  • Complete required paperwork for unit pre-trip, inspections, job reports, and safety documents.
Requirements
  • Valid Class 1 or 3A license with no more than 5 demerits in the last 3 years.
  • Experience with Hot Oilers is an asset.
  • Experience in an industrial environment is an asset.
  • Having a Safety Construction Orientation Training (SCOT) certification is an asset.
  • Able to provide a negative result on a pre-employment drug and alcohol test.
  • Able to travel throughout Saskatchewan (flexibility in scheduling is required).
Preferred Skills
  • Strong mechanical aptitude.
  • Very comfortable with manual transmissions.
  • Safety focused when it comes to people and equipment.
  • Perform physically demanding work, including climbing multiple flights of stairs and carrying equipment (able to lift up to 50 pounds on a regular basis).
  • Enjoy working outdoors the majority of the time in varied weather conditions.
