At Loblaw Companies Ltd - Head Office, we are seeking an experienced Director to lead our Assurance and Advisory Services team. As a key business partner across the group of companies, this role will be responsible for overseeing and executing high-impact advisory engagements, driving deep knowledge and strong client service.

Role Requirements and Responsibilities
  • Lead a portfolio of operational, financial, and strategic assurance and advisory engagements, focusing on governance, risk, controls, and performance improvements.
  • Partner with cross-functional teams to improve existing processes, design new processes, and elevate thought leadership around our businesses.
  • Provide independent, proactive, and informed viewpoints to improve internal control, reduce risk exposures, and validate efficient use of company resources.
  • Create highly visual and creative deliverables and presentations that capture current and emerging risks, potential issues, opportunities, and mitigating activities meaningful and practical for the businesses.

The ideal candidate will have 7+ years of experience in management consulting, assurance, operations, business, finance, or other professional disciplines (Big 4 firms experience is a strong asset). A bachelor's degree in business or a related field is required. CPA, MBA, CIA, PMP, or similar designation is an asset.

This is a senior-level position with a competitive salary range of $180,000-$250,000 per year, depending on experience.
