We are seeking an experienced and skilled Automotive Body Shop Manager to lead our team at Steele Auto Group. As a key member of our organization, you will be responsible for overseeing the daily operations of our body shop, ensuring high-quality collision repairs, and providing an exceptional customer experience.
Key Responsibilities- Operations Management: Manage the day-to-day activities of the body shop, including supervising staff, maintaining a clean and organized work environment, and ensuring compliance with industry standards and regulations.
- Customer Service: Provide excellent customer service, responding to customer inquiries, and ensuring that customers are informed and satisfied with the repair process.
- Quality Control: Inspect vehicles to ensure that repairs meet quality standards, and implement corrective actions to address any issues.
- Staff Management: Supervise and train body shop staff, including technicians, painters, and administrative personnel, to ensure that they have the necessary skills and knowledge to perform their jobs effectively.
- Financial Management: Manage the body shop's budget, including ordering supplies, managing inventory, and controlling costs.
- Strategic Planning: Develop and implement strategies to improve the body shop's efficiency, productivity, and customer satisfaction.
- Experience: Minimum 2 years of experience in a management role in a collision repair facility.
- Education: High school diploma or equivalent required; associate's or bachelor's degree in a related field preferred.
- Skills: Strong leadership and communication skills, ability to work in a fast-paced environment, and proficiency in estimating software (Audatex and Mitchell) and other industry tools.
