About the Role:

Hess Associates Executive Search is seeking a highly skilled Diagnostic Sales Specialist to join our client's team in Toronto. As a key player in the sales team, you will be responsible for driving business growth and success in the diagnostic industry.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Generate new business opportunities while retaining existing major clients
  • Maintain multiple levels of strategic contacts within these accounts
  • Deal with quotations, RFPs, contracts, and tenders
  • Attend and represent the company at meetings and shows
  • Provide forecasts and reports

Requirements:

  • Ph.D. or M.Sc. with appropriate experience
  • 5 years of hands-on successful business development/sales experience, preferably in the niche Toronto Hospital Clinical Diagnostics Laboratory sector
  • List of key personal contacts/decision makers in the GTA
  • Able to make an impact and handle long, 2 to 3 year sales cycles
  • Outstanding sales and business development track record
  • Proactive, with strong leadership and technical skills
  • Strong technical scientific background
  • Excellent customer relationship management
  • Experience with MS software
  • Living in the Greater Toronto area
