We are seeking a reliable and caring Home Childcare Provider to join our team at Tony Hartt. As a Home Childcare Provider, you will be responsible for providing high-quality care and supervision to children in a family setting.

Responsibilities
  • Assume full responsibility for household duties in the absence of parents
  • Perform light housekeeping and cleaning duties
  • Travel with family on trips and assist with child supervision and housekeeping duties
  • Bathe, dress, and feed infants and children
  • Discipline children according to the methods requested by the parents
  • Instruct children in personal hygiene and social development
  • Keep records of daily activities and health information regarding children
  • Maintain a safe and healthy environment in the home
  • Organize activities such as games and outings for children
  • Prepare and serve nutritious meals
  • Prepare infants and children for rest periods
  • Supervise and care for children
  • Take children to and from school and to appointments
  • Tend to the emotional well-being of children
Requirements
  • Secondary (high) school graduation certificate
  • 1 year to less than 2 years of experience in a related field
  • International English Language Testing System (IELTS) proficiency test
  • CPR Certificate
  • First Aid Certificate
  • Child Abuse Registry check
  • Child welfare check
  • Criminal record check
  • Reference required
  • Vulnerable sector check
Work Environment

The work environment is non-smoking and located in a rural area. The employer's home is the work site, and optional accommodation is available at no charge on a live-in basis.
