Your Opportunity

Our Financial Reporting & Insights team is seeking a Co-op or Intern Student to join our team for a 4-month period. This role will provide experience with reviews, compilations, and corporate tax (not auditing). The successful candidate will be responsible for:

  • Preparing financial statements for Notice to Reader and Review engagement
  • Preparing working files for income tax and information returns for a variety of client sizes
  • Building positive working relationships with clients and effectively responding to requests and suggestions
  • Completing ongoing accounting analysis and assignments following established procedures
  • Effectively communicating with team members regarding progress updates and issues on an ongoing basis

Your Experience and Education

We are looking for a Co-op or Intern Student who:

  • Is currently working towards a degree or diploma, focused in accounting
  • Is interested in long-term growth within the Financial Reporting & Insights team
  • May have experience or certifications with QuickBooks, Xero, and/or Sage
  • Values teamwork, client service, and quality in detailed work
  • Displays strong problem-solving, analytical, and communication skills
