Job Title: Staff Accountant

RightCrowd Software Inc. is seeking a highly skilled and detail-oriented Staff Accountant to join our Finance & Accounting team. As a key member of the team, you will be responsible for assisting in the preparation of financial reports, performing account reconciliations, and participating in the month-end close process.

Responsibilities:
  • Assist with month-end close and ensure accurate and timely completion of financial reports
  • Prepare, review, and post journal entries to ensure accurate financial records
  • Maintain and reconcile balance sheet and expense accounts to ensure accuracy and compliance
  • Record and report accruals and prepaids to ensure accurate financial reporting
  • Assist with annual audit schedules and ensure compliance with company policies and procedures
  • Investigate and resolve audit findings, account discrepancies, and issues of non-compliance
  • Ensure all transactions comply with company's internal controls, policies, and procedures
  • Assist in the annual budgeting process and identify areas for process improvements
Requirements:
  • Bachelor's degree in accounting or a related field
  • Minimum of 3-5 years of direct experience in accounting and finance
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills
  • Detail-oriented with strong organization and problem-solving skills
  • Collaborative, professional attitude with a strong work ethic
  • Inherently self-motivated, works with a sense of urgency and the ability to multi-task
  • Ability to work with minimum supervision to complete daily tasks accurately and on time
  • Desire to go outside comfort zone by assisting with projects and taking on additional responsibilities
