Job Description:

At SD Furniture & Kitchen Cabinets Inc., we are looking for a skilled Artisan Painter to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a background in painting and wall covering, with experience in preparing surfaces, mixing paint, and applying finishes to interior and exterior surfaces.

Responsibilities:
  • Prepare surfaces for painting, including cleaning, sanding, and repairing cracks and holes.
  • Mix and apply paint, wallpaper, and other finishes to interior and exterior surfaces.
  • Erect scaffolding and swing stages, and attach rigging as needed.
  • Advise clients on colours and choice of wall coverings.
Requirements:
  • 1 year to less than 2 years of experience in painting and wall covering.
  • Permanent employment with 40 hours per week.
  • English as the primary language of work.
