Lifemark Seniors Wellness BC is a renowned leader in rehabilitation services, seeking an experienced Physiotherapist to join our team of professionals. The ideal candidate will possess a strong background in physiotherapy, excellent communication skills, and a passion for working with seniors.

Location: Vancouver Island, BC Status: Independent Contractor

The Physiotherapy position involves assessing and reassessing the needs of a fluctuating caseload. We offer flexible hours, allowing for a great work-life balance. Our Physiotherapists work in partnership with other professionals, providing a collaborative and supportive environment.

As a Physiotherapist with Lifemark Seniors Wellness, you will have the opportunity to work with an established organization with over 30 years of experience. You will benefit from mentorship with clinical practice leads and enjoy an excellent remuneration package.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Building strong relationships with stakeholders, including contacts at host sites, residents, and participants.
  • Traveling to specified retirement homes to render physiotherapy services.
  • Determining the schedule of work based on referrals and physiotherapy treatments rendered.
  • Adhering to professional Rules of Conduct as set out by the College of Physiotherapists.

Required qualifications include:

  • A graduate of a recognized university Physiotherapy degree program.
  • Registration with the Provincial College of Physiotherapists.
  • Preferably experienced within LTC or another seniors' care setting.
  • A valid Vulnerable Sector screening check.
