Job Title: Daycare Aide

We are seeking a dedicated and caring Daycare Aide to join our team at Kidz Club Daycare Inc. As a key member of our staff, you will play a vital role in providing a safe and nurturing environment for our children.

Responsibilities:
  • Education and Training: Secondary (high) school graduation certificate is required.
  • Experience: 1 to less than 7 months of experience in a related field is preferred.
  • Tasks:
    • Engage children in storytelling and interactive activities.
    • Supervise and train staff, trainees, or volunteers to ensure a high standard of care.
    • Order and manage supplies and equipment to maintain a safe and healthy environment.
    • Assist early childhood educators or supervisors in maintaining accurate records.
    • Participate in staff meetings to discuss progress and challenges faced by children.
    • Plan and organize activities for school-age children in our before- and after-school programs.
    • Supervise and coordinate the activities of other early childhood educators and assistants.
  • Support for Diverse Groups:
    • Offer mentorship, coaching, and networking opportunities for individuals with disabilities.
    • Provide mentorship programs that pair newcomers and refugees with experienced staff.
    • Offer mentorship, coaching, and networking opportunities for youth, veterans, Indigenous people, and mature workers.
  • Work Environment:
    • Permanent full-time position.
    • Work language: English.
    • 40 hours per week.
